Many times we see homeless and we ignore them, don’t make eye contact and even attempt to avoid them by passing on the other side of the street. This might be self preservation or maybe we are uncomfortable with the unknown. Whatever the reason, the homeless have become less than human to a lot of people.
DE Serves’ mission is to help the homeless, to give them a voice and make them visible again. However, we aren’t the first or only group to focus on helping the homeless.
